President & Chief Executive Officer, ArcBest
Seth Runser is President and CEO of ArcBest. With nearly twenty years of experience, he brings deep operational expertise and a customer-led approach to driving growth, efficiency and innovation across the organization. Focused on building better supply chains, Seth leads strategic initiatives that simplify logistics, improve service performance and create long-term value for customers and shareholders.
Seth began his career at ArcBest in 2007 as an ABF Freight Management Trainee and advanced through key operations and leadership roles. He was named President of ABF Freight in 2021 and President of ArcBest in 2024, guiding teams through disruption and modernizing operations. He became CEO and was appointed to the ArcBest Board of Directors effective January 1, 2026. Seth serves on several industry and community boards, including the American Trucking Associations Executive Committee of the Board of Directors, the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Foundation Board, and the Fort Smith Regional Council. Seth holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Kent State University
